Fashion has evolved so much over the years, and even though each season comes with its own trends there really are no rules when it comes to creating perfect looks. You can wear what you want when you want, and when it comes to weddings this still stands with the exception of just one obvious rule: Do not ever wear white, (unless the bride okays it of course).

With there being no more rules when it comes to fashion, finding your perfect outfit for a wedding just became so much easier. You can opt for a timeless look that never goes out of style or one that ticks all the boxes for this year’s trends.

So let’s dive straight in and help you find that perfect wedding outfit that will make you look and feel incredible.

Twice a year the fashion world goes crazy and everyone heads to fashion week to get a head start on next seasons trends. These aren’t just for everyday looks;; you can choose elements from the trends that you love to build yourself that dream outfit. Whether it’s a print, a frill, or embellished detailing, it provides a ton of inspiration to create new looks.

I have put a list together of trends for the rest of 2019 and where to buy them now, some can even be carried into next year.

Polka Dots: These have so many colour way options and will suit everyone.

Metallics and Sequins: No longer only suitable for the evening. These look incredible in the day time, especially sparkling in the sunshine.

Brights: Work bright colours head to toe or mix it up with some neutral tones.

Rose print: Floral is always on trend but this time its focusing on roses. Jumbo or ditsy the rose print will always look chic.

Timeless

There are so many styles and prints that work all year every year. They might be something you already have in your wardrobe or something you will definitely find when you hit the shops.

For the perfect wedding guest look you can work these timeless elements into your outfit or wear them head to toe. It can be so hard to find a wedding outfit that you will wear again so opting for something timeless is a great way to make sure you get a lot of wear out of this one outfit. Wedding outfits can be so expensive so this option will almost guarantee it won’t be just hanging in your wardrobe for years to come.

Animal Print: Find the perfect style that will look effortless and expensive.

Beige: This is such a chic look using different shades head to toe.

Floral: Any colour palette works anytime.

Stripes: Go for neutral tones or bright colours.

Any of these trends or timeless pieces can be worked head to toe or as separates. They can be worn as dresses, skirts or trousers meaning there’s an option for everyone. So next time you hit the shops for a wedding outfit, stay calm and have fun.

The shows at fashion week can be daunting as a lot of the time more is more for a show, but when you break it down you can find so many trends that you will love. You can always view the trends from fashion week online. They are available within minutes after the show has ended.

Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter will have their own trends but you will find in a lot of cases there will be some cross over. Which means you can work it all year round. Hurray!!
