Getting Married Abroad
With the average UK wedding costing nearly £30K, it’s not surprising that some couples are opting to get married abroad. Even with the uncertainty of Brexit looming over our heads, chances are it’ll still be cheaper to get married abroad. Whilst countries in Europe are still very popular; Italy for example has become increasingly popular with Brits, however it is now one of the most expensive countries to get married in abroad. As a result of the UK leaving the EU, we may see countries such as America, Caribbean, Thailand, Seychelles and Mauritius becoming more popular to get married.
I’ve been meaning to write a blog post on destination weddings for a while so when I received an email from Sainsbury’s Bank blog, Money Matters asking me if I would feature their new guide to getting married abroad on my website I knew this was the perfect time. It offers a handy walk-through of the wedding planning process, including best locations, as well as what paperwork you’ll need to supply and making overseas transfers to pay for your wedding.
Planning a wedding overseas may seem scary at first, however a wedding planner is able to help you every step of the way.
